Stavros Vakis is a New York based Producer, Mixing Engineer, and Sound Designer from Cyprus. His credits include collaborations with artists whose discographies have amassed over 22 million streams, and projects he’s directly contributed to as a mixer and producer have surpassed one hundred thousand streams across platforms.

Having worked as a studio assistant for Andrew Masters in Nashville, a well-known industry figure whose discography has amassed over 2.8 billion streams, Stavros now brings that experience to his work with independent artists as a producer and engineer, while also serving as the Lead Engineer at silkscreen.studio in Cyprus.

Stavros graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Electronic Production and Design, and a minor in Recording and Production for Musicians. Under the guidance of industry giants, such as renowned Mastering engineer Jonathan Wyner and Grammy-winning Mixing engineer John Paterno, Stavros developed a sharp ear from hours of critical listening and hands on experience. Stavros is currently a candidate for NYU's Master of Music Technology degree.

 

He is passionate about mixing in both stereo and surround formats (Dolby Atmos, Quad, 5.1), and specializes in Sound Design using a combination of analog and digital synthesizers and advanced synthesis techniques. Stavros continuously incorporates these elements into both his creative work and collaborative productions.
